Located in Tokyo Mitaka, "Ghibli Museum, Mitaka" is an unique looking building surrounded by nature which is two story high with an underground floor.
With no suggested route, all visitors can enjoy the museum in their own way. Touch, feel, and experience the museum full of new discovery.

Every tenth of the month, tickets go on sale for the following month’s entry

1 Loppi top screen Touch 'Information' on the Loppi screen.

2 Language selection Select and touch 'English'. Next, touch 'Ghibli Museum, Mitaka' / '三鷹の森ジブリ美術館'.

3 Check your purchase items Check the displayed items, then touch '次へ'.

4 Confirm method of purchase Check method of purchase, and touch '次へ'.

5 Selection of the month Select the 'month' you would like to visit the museum.

6 Selection of the date Select the desired day. (Example) For October 29

7 Check the time Select the desired time. ● 10:00 = Admission between 10:00 and 10:30 am ● 12:00 = Admission between 12:00 and 12:30 ● 14:00 = Admission between 2:00 and 2:30 pm ● 16:00 = Admission between 4:00 and 4:30 pm

8 Check the item for which you have applied. Touch '次へ'.

9 Check the date Check that the date is correct, then touch '入場引換券'.

10 Enter the number of passes. Enter the desired number of tickets. Press ▲ to increase the number, ▼ to decrease it. After entering, touch '次へ'.

11 Privacy Policy The following indicates how personal information is handled '個人情報の取扱について'. Touch '○同意する'.

12 Screen for Point card members Touch '×いいえ'.

13 Enter your name and telephone number (Name is printed on the surface of a ticket.) Enter your name and telephone number. Leave a space between your last name and first name. Enter your telephone number. If your phone number is 11 or more digits, please touch '9' ten times.

14 Confirm the application content Check the entered contents, then touch '○確定する'.

15 Confirm the no change orcancellation policy It is not possible to make changes or to cancel after this step. After checking, touch '○はい'.

16 Issuing of the [pre-registration ticket] * The [ticket] is not the entrance ticket. The ticket is issued. Pay and receive your entrance ticket at the payment counter, at the Lawson store. * The application ticket expires in 30 minutes.

17 At GHIBLI MUSEUM, please change this ticket to the 'Film ticket' at the entrance hall.

* No date/time changes or refunds.
* One person may purchase up to 6 tickets.
* Each ticket will be exchanged with a ticket with film upon admission to the museum. Note that even if one person has multiple tickets, they will not be exchanged with tickets with film.
* For inquiries about tickets, call 0570-000-777 (10:00 to 20:00).
* Resale of tickets for commercial purpose is prohibited. Admission will be refused for tickets purchased through channels other than authorized dealers.
* Your identification may be checked upon admission. Please bring identification (driver's license, insurance card, student ID, etc.) indicating the name printed on the ticket. All members of groups should enter together.
